Welcome to the first post of what I hope to be many for my website. My name is Nikolas Jose Rosales. I am primarily using this website as a portfolio for my art, and other grand creations, as well as a slight blog. This has been a long standing dream of mine since I first started using the internet way back as a kid in 1997. HA! Depressing indeed. I always seemed to let other things distract me and occupy my time, mainly things like school, working or the simple video game. Those are also the reasons for stunting my progress in fulfilling the many ideas and aspirations I have had over the years. But now I am taking the time to finally set up shop and create and display things I have always wanted to and will work on in the future. I will update each time as a new Project becomes completed, as well as older stuff that I have managed to work on in the past.

Now that little introduction has been taken care of. I will give a brief break down as to what your are gazing upon here, that which is my website.

The banner above this post will display the newest addition to the website, and, when in the galleries, will act as a navigation ladder, much like the address bar in your normal Windows’…window…The main banner directly above that with that handsome character will make sure you don’t forget where you are! You can also click on it to go directly to the main page where these blog posts will be. Now to explain the Sidebar, which includes the rest of the navigation links.

Next to the Newest Creation/Gallery Nav Ladder, is just a silly little animation of myself that will coincide with what theme may be going on.

About Me: Simple enough, it is a more in-depth story about some basic history and knowledgeable insights into the persona of myself.

Art: Goes to the galleries that show off various art work. Inside will be sub galleries depending on the mediums – Pencil, Charcoal, CG..You get the idea. Click on the image to get more information about the piece, or click on the Gallery section to just cycle through everything.

Creations: Much like the Art section. But Creations are a little different, there are still sub galleries, but the mediums are different, like Packaging Tape, Paper Maché, and even Fabric.

Contact: Have a question? Want to get a hold of me? Well this is the obvious place to go! I will be amazed to hear from anyone indeed!

Theme Switcher: Finally to the bottom. The Theme Switcher. As time goes on, I’ll incorporate more themes, but for now it is humbly just of Sonic and Knuckles as a background image and some light color changes. This background image has been in my mind for as long as I have wanted a website!
